Incredible work. Far easier to understand these devices with the interactive art.

This is so unbelievably cool! Makes it so easy to trace how each use of the idea improved slightly on the latter. Looking forward to the next one already.

Btw do you think there's a chance the Colossus of Memnon actually made a noise at the same time every day? I always assumed it was an old myth, but the idea the Ancient Egyptians might have figured out how the concept that early is mind-boggling.

Great work! This interactive approach would be a fantastic teaching tool for young, curious minds.

That's really neat Anton. Very helpful teaching tools. You may already know this but it doesn't seem to work in Firefox. Worked beautifully in Edge though.

Bravo !

Interactivity is indeed the pinnacle of popularization.

I would suggest making a looping video for that example rather than a static picture.

Another issue is the bad performance of your website compared to the watch one, but this can probably be improved with time.

(I am much less confident about Substack itself : in their quest to make a more "responsive" design, they have made a *less* responsive one, which makes me avoid it, and especially its comment sections. I blame an over-reliance on JavaScript, requiring which also causes accessibility issues (something acceptable for an interactive diagram, not so much for a comment section).)
